Welcome to the Christian C.A.R.E. Coalition (CCC) website. Established in May of 2008, the CCC is a cooperation of non-profit organizations, churches and interested individuals in Johnson County, Kansas, who have banded together to address issues of abuse from a Christian perspective. Our desire is to respond to abuse in the manner we believe Christ would, as demonstrated in scripture.
The Mission of the Christian C.A.R.E Coalition is to C.A.R.E.:
C ooperate with others in the Christian community who are committed to responding to abuse
A dvocate for those who are being abused
R efer those who are affected by abuse to available resources whether provided by the church, community or government
E ducate the abused and the abuser, the church and the community concerning issues of abuse
The Vision of the Christian C.A.R.E. Coalition is to see the Christian Community joining together to respond to physical, sexual, emotional and spiritual abuse.
Our initial focus is on the Cooperate and Refer portions of the Mission. Once this is established, we will build on the Advocate and Educate portion of the Mission.
Our hope is to one day expand the CCC membership to encompass the greater Kansas City metro area. We welcome others who share this vision. For more information, please contact Deborah Simon who currently serves as our initial point of contact.

The next Coalition meeting will be held, Sunday, April 26th from 6:00 – 8:00 at the MNU counseling center at 14201 S Mur–Len, classroom suite 203, Olathe, KS 66062. The building is called Mur–Len Office Quarters and is located across the street (Mur–Len) to the east from MNU's softball field. For questions or directions, please call Kiersten at (913) 709–5886.
The CCC meets the second Sunday of the month from 6–8 PM at various churches.
